The Isle of Man Yacht Forum was founded in 2004 to
promote companies based on the Island that are active
within the Superyacht industry. It is also the objective
of members to promote the quality of the Isle of Man
as an international financial centre – which is one of the
most respected and best regulated in the world. This
respect is underlined by the fact that the international
ratings agency, Standard and Poor’s, have for several
years given the Island their prestigious “AAA” rating.
The yacht industry on the Isle of Man, particularly in
respect of corporate services, began to develop in
1985 and has grown to be a substantial and highly
respected part of the global Superyacht industry.
The extent to which the Isle of Man Yacht Forum
Members are involved in the Superyacht industry can
be judged by the increasing number of yachts which
are managed through Isle of Man trusts and
companies.

communication and transport links, gives the Isle of
